Content Still Pending

So, I have deleted over half of my blog posts (2 out of 3, to be precise) and intend to give this blog some actual purpose. What should I use it to talk about? How can I structure this blog to assist me in organizing my life? Spouting every thought that goes through my head is obviously not an effective writing strategy, and refined writing unrelated to the content it is surrounded by is more often than not ignored or missed altogether. For these reasons, I've created this list in order to keep myself on track.

Topics that will be be central to this blog:

• My thought, creative and design processes
• Deconstruction of and commentary on issues that immediately affect me
  
• The various projects I work on independently or those I associate with

Topics I will attempt to talk about sparingly:

• Politics
• Controversial issues that affect me directly (DRM and piracy, potentially more politics)
• Deconstruction of media such as games, music and film(what did they do right/wrong, the elements that work and why)
• Events in my life that can fill a few paragraphs and make an interesting read

Topics I will avoid:

• Pointless drama
• Anything I can fit into 140 characters and post on Twitter
  

I hope to have a new, proper post up soon enough, once I've decided which project I am going to dedicate the most time on these next few days.

The Street Fighter IV National Tournament: Round 2

I'm off to round 2 tomorrow, I'm heading to bed after this is posted so that I'll have enough sleep. I'm kind of nervous, I never expected to win round 1, I rented the game the night before and just went to town.

So, I rented the game again, played through the trial mode constantly and played online. If PlayStation Network is any indication, I'm going to be the only one there not playing Ryu, Ken or Sagat. Come to think of it, that's exactly what round 1 was like. People take this tier shit way too seriously. I play Bison (Dictator), by the way.

I'll be in Tukwilla for the district tournament, along with all the other round 1 winners. I'm kind of at a disadvantage, I have the PS3 version, the tournament is done on the Xbox 360. I made it through round 1 with a comeback victory of 3 wins in a row, let's hope I can pull that off again.

EDIT: so yeah, I lost the last fight. No regrets, the guy was definately better than me. Though, if I were on the other bracket, I would have won >.>
